Newton's third Law
When Isaac Newton said "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction" little did he realise that his infamous third law would be used by shrewd, rude people to explain just about any phenomena in life.
Last week I was cribbing to a friend of mine about the sudden increase in workload at office. I happened to casually mention how things had been so comfortable in April when i had hardly stayed back beyond 6 pm and that was it... As if on cue, i was severely berated for having wasted my time when i could have proactively taken up most of the present assignments in April. Being the typical snobbish CA, she reminded me that my own guru, the great physicist Newton had spoken about all this in detail and proceeded to quote the third law for proof.
This is absolutely the last time i am gonna tolerate such stupidity. C'mon, if you wanna draw parallels like this, then i might as well say that Newton was just reinforcing the Bible which says "As you sow, so shall you reap" and surely the Bible is not about physics, is it ...Gimme a break!
